Best Prop Bets for the 3/3 - 3/4 slate

By Jack Kobus:

Welcome the NBA to BettorFantasy!

I am here to give you some prop bets that can help you win some money this week! I will be writing for the games I like the best this Thursday and Friday. With that being said, here they are:

Game 1- Heat vs Nets

This eastern conference matchup would usually be a must-watch game as we will see both teams in the playoffs this season, but this week it's not. Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving are out for this game, giving the Heat a massive advantage over a talented Nets roster. Kevin Durant will be returning this game so the Nets will have their main star back. With the new addition of Ben Simmons, I will see myself reporting on the Brooklyn Nets a lot especially because I think they are title contenders. This weekend I’m going to bet some big money on Jimmy Butler. Jimmy Butler this season is averaging almost 22 a game with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. He is the foundation of this Miami team and with Simmons out the Nets' best on-ball defender won’t be there to keep Butler in check. I am placing an over of 20.5 points for Jimmy Butler. He’s been very efficient this season shooting around 48% and now with no true lockdown defender on him this game, expect him to get his points. With 2 of their 3 main stars out, next in line is Andre Drummond, who has been having a great year defensively and on the boards. Expect an easy over of 9 rebounds for Andre Drummond as he’s coming off a 19 rebound game 2 weeks ago and a 12 rebound game last week. My final bet for game one is a Heat victory going into Brooklyn.

Game 2- Warriors vs Mavericks

Steph Curry, Steph Curry, Steph Curry. Arguably the greatest point guard of all time has been lights out this season. Even though his ppg is low for him (25.7) he is still averaging 4.6 3 pointers made per game. He put up 27 in their loss to the Mavericks previously this week, but I fully expect Curry and Thompson to come out strong this game. Curry will score over 29.5 points and gather over 4 rebounds. I expect a Warriors win as well. Moving to a Dallas team, one of the hottest teams in the NBA, who has a plethora of scoring options. I’d expect Dinwiddie to score over 14 points. Even though he has been streaky this season, when he’s hot, as he has been recent, he can score at will. He’s coming off a 24 point and 20 point game, so expect him to keep some fire going. Luka Doncic who is averaging 28, 9, and 9 will be the main facilitator in this game, especially against another talented point guard. I personally think Curry is too weak on defense to really halt Doncic, so I am going to say Doncic has over 28 points, over 7 assists, but under 10.5 rebounds. Expect a big game from each teams’ respected point guards.

Game 3- Bucks vs Bulls

What a game this will be. We have the #2 seed Bulls who are just having a phenomenal season thanks to MVP candidate DeMar DeRozan. Overall, the Bulls are a great passing and playmaking team with athletic guards who can both score and play defense. On the other side, we have the defending champions Milwaukee Bucks led by none other than Giannis who is putting up 29.4 ppg, 11.3 rebounds, and 6 assists. Another MVP type year out of Giannis and I do not see him cooling down in the years to come. For this game expect a lot of defense and inside the paint scoring. My biggest prop for this game is Giannis over 29.5 points. In his last 6 games, he has had one game under 30 points, he is just so dominant that Zach Lavine or even DeRozan will not be able to guard him. I also like Jrue Holiday with over 17.5 points as well as 5 assists. I am going to bet under 2.5 steals for Jrue Holiday in this game even though he is known for his defense and tenacity. I want to put down Bobby Portis over 17.5 points and Wesley Matthews over 2.5 three-pointers made. This game will surely come down to the grit and grind, but I see Giannis coming up big and taking down the Chicago Bulls.
